First we found out about Hilary Swank, and now Racked is reporting that Olivia Palermo has announced she is working on a line of her own. We all know that the fashion star is shooting her own reality show, but today it's being reported the series will follow Olivia's road to success in the industry. Similar to Lauren Conrad's deal, isn't it? Over the past few weeks, we've also learned that Mischa Barton (who is shooting a reality show too) is planning a line herself. I can barely keep up! What started out as just a T-shirt line quickly evolved into an entire collection with DMA, Designers Management Agency. The company's co-founder explains the style of her collection: "Our platform is a contemporary, outdoor, athleisure brand," Athleisure. That sounds like something I could be comfy in just hanging out around the house all day! I wonder what the price points will be on this line? Part of me guesses that since Hilary Swank is a thrifty shopper, she'll want to keep the costs down as much as she can, but you never know!

Madonna Played Santa To Malawi Orphans Posted: 29 Dec 2010 06:44 AM PST Madonnamight be a pretty strict mom at home, but this Christmas she showed she definitely has a soft side! Madonna sent toys, clothes and sweets to Malawi this Christmas season to be distributed to six orphanages. Malawi is the birth country of Madonna's adopted daughter, Mercy. UsMagazine also reports that the singer included a handwritten note in with one of the boxes that read; "To my Malawi children on Christmas and Boxing Day. I wish I was with you. See you soon, M." How nice! In addition to the new clothes that Madonna sent over she also sent items that her 4 children, Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy have outgrown. There were other notes included that were signed by Madonna, Lourdes and Rocco that read; "Mercy, David, Rocco, Lourdes and I send you a blessed Christmas to all of you!" I love that Madonna is honoring the birthplace of her daughter and giving back! In addition to the items that she sent, she also threw a party for over 3500 people! It's nice that she was able to make that many children have a Merry Christmas!

Lydia Hearst has been cast to play a character based on Lindsay Lohan in an upcoming movie called 'Dogs in Pocketbooks'! Charles Casillo, who wrote the movie, told the New York Post that; "Lydia Hearst will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media — a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan," "I spent a lot of time casting for the right actress for this screwball comedy, but Lydia Hearst is perfect." "[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It's more of a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate. It satirizes the obsession with modern celebrity." Well, I have a feeling that Lindsay won't really take it as a form of flattery and that we'll be hearing from Dina about a lawsuit pretty soon, mostlybecause she'll think that someone more high profile should be playing Lindsay!! This is the first big film role for Hearst who is a successful model and probably most well known as the daughter of Patricia Hearst. The rumor about Charlie Sheen is not true. He is alive and on his way over to see his daughters. Thank u for all your concern… The rumor started on Sunday claiming that Sheen had died in a snowboarding accident, and according to PEOPLE one report claimed that Sheen 'lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed'. I'm glad to hear that it was just a rumor!

Teena Marie Has Died Posted: 29 Dec 2010 06:28 AM PST This is a shock! R&B singer Teena Marie was found dead in her home yesterday by her daughter. Teena sang the hit songs 'Loverboy,' 'Portuguese Love,' 'Ooo La La La,' and 'I'm a Sucker For Your Love.' She was only 54. "Teena Marie was a black voice trapped in a white body," said Cathy Hughes, founder of Radio One, a broadcasting company that targets African-American and urban listeners. "I would always tell her that she was one of the greatest vocalists of our time." Teena's manager said the singer apparently had died in her sleep. Her publicist reported that she had suffered a grand mal seizure last month. The publicist said she had a "great" conversation with Teena Marie on Saturday, who was looking forward to performing in Atlanta later this week, reports CNN.

Demi Lovato has been in treatment since late October. The last few months have been particularly trying. Between Demi Lovato's naked pictures, sex tape scandal and lawsuit payout to a former dancer, it's understandable to see 2010 was a trying year.

There has been no official word on when Lovato will be released from the treatment center, although she was seen out with her family celebrating Christmas Day. The movie is nominated for Best Picture, battling it out with Black Swan, Inception, and Toy Story 3, True Grit and Winter's Bone. Moreover, David Fincher  is up for Best Director award, which is contested by Danny Boyle (127 Hours), Joel and Ethan Coen (True Grit),  Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) and Christopher Nolan (Inception). Black Swan gets the other nominees for Best Original Screenplay, Best Leading Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Editing.
